For Individuals and Families
All members of Human Sense are actively practicing clinicians in their fields. We are happy to offer individual and family services as independent clinicians. These services include:
Direct Occupational Therapy Evaluation and Intervention:
Option 1: Out-of-Pocket Payment – Sliding Scale Available
Option 2: Insurance-based billing
For either option, you may contact us directly:

As clinicians, we provide OT services based on the individualized needs, values, and identities of the humans we serve. While standardized tests, specific treatment approaches, technology, and other traditional aspects of OT services are in our toolbox, our main goal is helping humans live lives that feel authentic and fulfilling. No Shoulds.
For Schools
We are here to help build spaces, policies, procedures, and programs that help all students find success and comfort. While this can take the form of a single consultation or training, our greatest impact is made through longer-term partnerships. Our goal is to develop comfortable and therapeutic relationships with all members of the school team. These relationships are the vehicle through which we can create change in the school culture and system. Specific services we provide within these relationships include:
- Professional Development Courses
- Neurodiversity
- Trauma-Informed Spaces
- Play-based and Function-based Learning
- Applying Family System’s Theory to the Classroom
- Social/Cultural Inclusion and Accessibility
- Physical Accessibility
- Development from the perspective of variability
- LGBTQIA+ inclusion
- In-Context (classroom, playground, cafeteria, etc) Consultation and Support
- We provide half and full day consultations in the natural environment. We join teachers and students in their everyday routines, participate in school activities, and invest in an intimate understanding of each classroom’s dynamics and the humans in each classroom family. This process allows us to offer support that feels personalized, respectful, and informed.
- Student/Class-specific recommendations for accessibility and skill development
- Individual training/education/mentorship for school team members
- Family-meeting support
- School transition planning support
